A threaded pipe flange enquiry has two interfaces to define: the connection to the pipe and the bolted connection to the opposing flange. This product offers several flange forms and Alloy Steel, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel choices, so identify the requested threaded configuration first.

Specify the pipe thread as a complete connection

Provide the required thread standard, nominal size and thread form for the mating pipe. Confirm those details for the selected flange rather than assuming that a threaded type name establishes compatibility. The actual bore and engagement requirements should be reviewed with the pipe connection, keeping the thread specification separate from the nominal dimensions of the bolted flange face.

Match the facing and drilling independently

Identify the opposing flange face, bolt-circle diameter and hole pattern on a dimensioned joint drawing. State the required nominal size, pressure class and applicable flange standard and edition for that arrangement. A matching thread does not establish a matching flange face, and a matching bolt pattern does not establish thread compatibility; both interfaces need confirmation for the same requested flange.

Keep the material requirement with the selected form

If carbon steel is required, name the material specification and grade explicitly, and confirm them for the flange to be supplied. Alloy and stainless selections represent different material families, while the other flange types describe different connection arrangements. Include the medium and design pressure and temperature when requesting suitability confirmation. A complete threaded-flange enquiry links the pipe-thread details, facing, drilling and steel grade in one joint specification before any exact size or class is accepted.
