This 316L/304L forged-flange enquiry covers type and sealing-face requirements that must be selected for a specific connection. WN, BL, SO, LJ and SF references do not describe one interchangeable configuration. Define the required type and face on an accepted mating drawing before ordering.

Select one size and material combination

Fifteen actual variants pair each 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 50 mm and 30 mm label with Stainless Steel, Alloy or Carbon Steel. Choose the required combination and define whether its size is nominal or measured. A customized-size request also needs a dimensioned drawing and acceptance tolerances.

Confirm the material designation, edition, grade, product condition and inspection traceability. The 316L/304L references do not certify every stainless choice or apply automatically to alloy and carbon-steel alternatives. Forged production requires the relevant manufacturing and inspection evidence.

Match the sealing face and drilling

Define FF, RF, MF or FMF face requirements explicitly with the mating component. Specify relevant bore, outside diameter, thickness, hub geometry, bolt circle, hole count and diameter, face dimensions and tolerances. A 0.25-inch mounting-hole entry alone cannot establish the complete drilling pattern.

The reference image contains a drilled ring and smaller hubbed pieces; it cannot certify the supplied subtype or dimensions. Agree welding preparation or other attachment requirements for the selected type. Define painting scope, surface preparation and functional-surface exclusions without assuming coating performance.

Confirm the complete joint duty

State the actual medium, pressure, temperature, cycling and imposed loads. Class 125 naming needs its governing standard and material-temperature basis. Agree the compatible mating flange, gasket, bolting and installation requirements where relevant, together with drawing approval, requested OEM, ODM or OBM scope, and the stated one-year warranty terms in the quotation.
