Repair Clamp Candidates for HDPE and Ductile-Iron Maintenance
RELIA builds a repair-clamp supply plan from pipe material, measured diameter, damage length and service conditions.
For a water-main repair program, we can investigate clamp options by pipe OD, material and damage at each location. Our product pages show HDPE leak-clamp examples and multi-material clamp examples. The actual pipe OD, damage and service conditions decide whether any clamp is appropriate.
We can help your team separate planned maintenance stock from a specific field repair. An OD-and-damage schedule may identify a relevant clamp family, while the site engineer decides whether the damaged main and seal surface actually allow that repair method.

Your Maintenance Program Has Several Pipe Cases
They do not settle the fit of every installation. We can help group a practical repair assortment by pipe and failure type, so your crew has an enquiry and trial list tied to its actual network.
Outside Diameter Determines the Fit
Measure the real pipe OD, including any coating where relevant. Nominal size or material alone can lead to the wrong clamp range. Our repair-clamp selection guide helps organize the measurement. Record it on each repair location before choosing a candidate. Compare the repair-clamp range with measured pipe outside diameters for HDPE and ductile iron separately; the same nominal size can hide a different fit.

Damage Type Limits the Repair Route
A local leak, split, severe deformation and failed joint present different problems. Provide damage photographs and length. A clamp may be a candidate for some cases, while others require a separate engineering repair decision.
Seal and Surface Need Inspection
Describe pipe surface condition, conveyed medium and any contamination around the damaged area.
Width and Range Must Cover the Real Area
Compare the damaged length and pipe OD with the exact proposed clamp specification. A single-band or wide-range phrase in a title is not an installation approval. Request a delivered-part drawing and application limits for the chosen size.
Check the Repair Against Working Pressure
Provide operating, design and transient pressure conditions.
Site Trials Need Clear Acceptance
Where a clamp route is approved, document installation position, pipe preparation and the checks your team will use after repair. The result for one main should not silently validate a different material or damage type. Use the pipeline connection installation guide to describe a site trial and sealing checks before asking which clamp could be proposed.

The Repair-Clamp Program Matches Each Pipe and Damage Type
For your pipeline item, the actual position, dimensions, medium, pressure and connection details stay with the quoted configuration and inspection record.
Keep pipe material, measured outside diameter, damage type, service condition, clamp range, quantity and evidence request on every reserve line. Stock and emergency timing require written confirmation.
RELIA manufactures rubber joints, metal bellows, industrial and dredging hoses, valves, pipe connections and repair products in its own factory. A pressure and leak test bench supports project inspection, and each line is approved against its own service conditions and test plan.
Repair-clamp capability covers DN50–DN1200 and PN10–PN16 with EPDM or NBR sealing. The chosen model is checked against the pipe outside diameter, damage length and service medium.
Before release, match the actual line position, approved configuration, quotation and test record to the item you plan to install. Review the company profile or request the current ISO certificate copies.
Common Ordering Clarifications
Use these clarifications to keep the drawing, trial and final order on the same acceptance basis.
One clamp does not cover every damage case
Pipe material, actual outside diameter, defect type, damage length and surface condition decide the appropriate repair range.
Working pressure remains part of the selected size
The pressure and service details stay with the clamp configuration instead of being assumed from the product family name.
A site trial needs a written acceptance basis
Fit, sealing and pressure-hold checks should be agreed for the actual pipe case before the repair becomes a repeat stock item.
Send a Pipe and Damage Schedule
Send pipe material, measured OD, medium, pressure, damage photos and length, quantity and destination for each maintenance case. Mark urgent stock needs separately from planned repairs. Share these details with us for a specific supply review.
