This forged hexagon-head stainless pipe fitting enquiry uses bushing and tee wording with a 2000# pressure reference. Confirm the actual supplied subtype before ordering. Four actual variants use TEE / Stainless Steel with one-, two-, three- or four-inch size labels, requiring a complete accepted construction drawing.
Identify the fitting and every selected end size
Specify the actual construction, all end diameters, bores, walls, body or centre-to-end dimensions, orientation and tolerances. A tee needs run and branch geometry; a bushing request needs its large and small end arrangement. One size label does not define either complete component.
The short length, height and mounting-hole entries do not establish the selected variant's geometry. Equal and Hexagon require drawing confirmation. Threaded three-opening photographs illustrate examples without resolving actual delivery, stainless grade, forging route or pressure qualification.
Confirm supplied joining and the stainless certificate
Accept one end specification. Welded supply requires preparation, pipe-wall matching and joining inspection. A threaded selection needs exact NPT form, size, gender, engagement, gauging and seal acceptance. The delivered connection must be explicit before evaluating the mating assembly.
Request the selected stainless product specification, exact grade, heat-traceable certificate and matching identification. Forged requires actual production and inspection records. Polished needs selected surface extent, measured finish and cleanliness acceptance. Neither a shiny example nor the finish label establishes hygienic certification.
Document pressure and corrosion conditions together
Obtain the governing rating standard, selected material-temperature basis and certified operating envelope; the numerical pressure reference is not an accepted universal psi limit. Corrosion resistance depends on actual grade, medium composition, temperature and exposure. Construction/gas naming gives no independent approval. Enquire with confirmed subtype, full dimensions/ends, grade certificate, manufacturing/finish requirements and complete pressure, temperature and medium conditions.
