This customized weld neck flange listing uses a 310S stainless steel designation and High Temperature Resistant wording. A Polished surface and four half-inch bolt holes are also stated. Confirm the supplied material and actual service requirements before treating those title details as a completed component specification.
Approve the customized neck and pipe match
The Stainless Steel weld neck option is selectable. Define the nominal size, pipe dimensions, bore, neck geometry and weld preparation on the proposed drawing. Include facing, thickness and the complete bolt pattern, with the welding and inspection requirements applicable to the project connection.
Check the four half-inch holes against the mating flange for the selected size. They should not be assumed throughout the shared 1/2–120 inch range. Agree the customized drawing revision and confirm that the required material, dimensions and flange configuration are available before finalizing the order.
Establish grade 310S and temperature limits
Obtain the actual material specification, condition and traceability records supporting 310S. Generic Stainless Steel options do not independently establish that designation. Other selectable materials and types require their own evidence and should not inherit the title grade or its proposed temperature-service application.
High Temperature Resistant wording gives no numerical allowable temperature, pressure-temperature envelope or service-life commitment. Identify the selected flange standard, edition and pressure requirements, then assess the actual material and joint under the project conditions rather than relying on a broad resistance phrase.
Define thermal duty and acceptance inspections
Provide the fluid or environment, temperature, pressure, thermal cycles, transients and loads affecting the flange. Review the customized connection for that duty. Specify finish criteria beyond Polished, material and dimensional records, weld-preparation inspections and drawing approval requirements. Confirm marking, preservation, quantity and delivery for the actual supplied component and documentation package.
