Bolt Hole Diameter1/2"Bolt Hole Quantity4
This forged threaded flange is presented for chemical-plant piping, with alloy-steel, ANSI/JIS and polished-surface references. The recorded selections also include other materials and flange constructions. Define one supplied configuration and its chemical-service requirements before applying thread, drilling or temperature claims.
Choose the threaded configuration and governing document
Thirty-six combinations cover Alloy Steel, Aluminum, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel across nine flange types. Confirm the actual threaded item, grade and nominal size; the 1/2–120-inch range label does not guarantee each individual size. Obtain a component drawing with the selected dimensional system.
Specify the applicable ANSI or JIS document and edition rather than assuming interchangeability. For the threaded connection, establish thread standard, size, form, engagement, mating part and sealing requirements. Include flange face, bore, thickness and outside dimensions, with any function-specific requirements for a different selected type.
Verify drilling and the polished delivery finish
The table lists four bolt holes of 1/2-inch diameter. Assign these values to the accepted component drawing, including bolt circle, tolerances and mating bolting. They do not define drilling for every material, size and type. Coordinate gasket seating, access and assembly alignment for the selected joint.
Request full material designation, condition, governing specification, traceability and certificates. Confirm forging and further manufacturing through records. Agree the location and measurable acceptance of polishing, plus delivery protection; no surface roughness value or corrosion-resistance performance is supplied by the finish label.
Establish chemical and temperature acceptance
Provide chemical composition and concentration, pressure, temperature, cycling, corrosion and mechanical loads. High-temperature wording gives no numerical operating envelope. Obtain compatibility and acceptance for the chosen flange, threads and joint components, then agree maintenance access, inspection, testing, marking and material, process, dimensional and finish documents.
