This ASTM A105 carbon steel flange listing covers slip-on and weld-neck enquiries for industrial water pipelines. Both types exist among the actual choices. Select one construction for the quotation; the combined title should not be treated as proof that every flange shares the same attachment or geometry.
Select the construction and traceable A105 material
Thirty-six combinations span four materials and nine types. Choose the actual Carbon Steel/Slip On or Carbon Steel/Weld Neck configuration, and specify its attachment requirements. Other choices need their own material and construction records rather than inheriting the title’s A105 reference.
Request the full material document and edition, grade, condition, traceability and accepted certificates. No governing dimensional standard is named in this title. Agree the applicable drawing/document and edition without adding an assumed standard or claiming certification from catalogue wording.
Define individual size, pipe fit and actual drilling
The shared half-inch-to120-inch label does not establish every available size. Confirm the individual nominal size and supply. Require bore/pipe fit, outside diameter, thickness, hub/neck geometry where relevant, actual end/wall dimensions, attachment preparation, facing dimensions and tolerances.
Allocate the table’s four half-inch bolt holes to that selected drawing. Confirm actual hole count, diameter and bolt circle instead of applying these entries to every option. No numerical pressure class is recorded. Agree polished surfaces and finish inspection without assuming corrosion protection or potable-water approval.
Accept the joint for the specified industrial water
State water chemistry, pressure, temperature, cycling, external loads and compatibility requirements. Confirm mating flange, gasket, fasteners, alignment, welding/attachment preparation and installation inspection. Obtain complete joint approval, then agree material/manufacturing/dimensional/class documents, marking, confirmed size availability and quotation scope for the actual project.
