This polished stainless steel blind flange enquiry follows the SS304/SS316 and B16.5 title references. It concerns the stainless blind configuration within a wider product record. Confirm the chosen grade and individual nominal size before specifying the flange for an industrial system.

Select the stainless blind option and actual nominal size

The record contains 36 variants across four materials and nine flange types. Materials include Alloy Steel, Aluminum, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel; types extend from integral, weld neck, slip-on, socket-weld, lap-joint and threaded to blind, orifice and spectacle blind. Stainless blind wording does not describe every variant.

Distinguish the half-inch title reference from the half-inch to 120-inch size option and the separate half-inch bolt-hole diameter. Request one nominal size, sizing convention and drawing with outside dimensions, thickness, bolt circle, hole count and tolerances. The listed four holes need selected-size allocation.

Confirm grade, B16.5 scope and polished-face requirements

Choose the complete material designation from the SS304/SS316 title alternatives and specify condition, governing material document and edition. The existing Stainless Steel option does not select a grade. Obtain material certification and traceability, plus the B16.5 document and actual component conformity scope.

Specify the face type and dimensions, measurable polished-finish criteria, mating interface, sealing, bolting and examination. No RF face, forged route or pressure class is selected in the record. Confirm the required class and documented material/temperature rating basis, with surface inspection and delivery protection.

Verify the intended industrial and corrosion conditions

Describe the actual medium composition, pressure and temperature, cycling, environmental exposure and loads. The extensive application list does not prove suitability for every industry. Assess the selected material and joint against those conditions and agree the drawing, finish, rating and inspection/testing evidence before acceptance.
