This forged flange enquiry references A182 F304, Class 150, BL and WN, with carbon steel and stainless steel selections. Choose one actual flange form and a documented material specification before using the selected item in a piping joint.
Choose the flange form and actual end interface
Confirm whether the requirement is a blind closure or a weld-neck interface. The actual Flange labels do not select either subtype. Gallery examples show open-centre forms, including an internally threaded bore, without qualifying the supplied BL or WN design. A blind request needs a solid-centre drawing; a weld-neck request needs confirmed hub, bore, bevel and pipe-wall match.
Specify the actual connection separately. Welding and NPT entries do not establish one selected end design. For a threaded requirement, obtain the complete thread designation and engagement details rather than assuming the gallery example represents every variant.
One material specification and pressure class
Keep an A182 F304 stainless requirement separate from carbon steel alternatives. Request the exact selected grade, material traceability and forging records; neither a polished surface nor the title certifies every variant. Establish one pressure class and governing specification before acceptance. The Class 150 enquiry does not qualify the supplied class, and the generic Pipe Class value needs selected-item documentation.
Low Pressure wording does not define a fixed working pressure. Assess the actual material, temperature, gasket, bolting and complete joint design. Painting, flexibility, corrosion resistance and chemical resistance also need evidence for the selected finish, component and exposure.
Dimensions and records for a flange quotation
Map the labels 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 50 mm and 30 mm to confirmed nominal sizes. Provide facing, thickness, outside diameter, bolt circle and hole details with the mating pipe or closure drawing. Generic length and height entries are not a full dimensional specification. Include operating medium, pressure, temperature, exposure and required material, dimensional and end-inspection documents.
