A ball valve enquiry for this listing should connect the required trunnion-mounted design with an identifiable assembly. Establish the exact model before comparing seat construction, body materials or operating limits. A section drawing and model-linked records provide the basis for evaluating the proposed valve against the pipeline specification.
Resolve Seat Construction and Body Process
State whether the application requires a metal seat or a PTFE seat, and request the corresponding seal arrangement. Ask for a section drawing identifying ball support, stem, seats and body joints. Specify body, ball and sealing materials separately; a stainless-steel component label does not identify every wetted part. Obtain material records and manufacturing documentation that establish whether the selected body is forged or cast. Keep these construction decisions tied to the quoted configuration.
Match the Bore, Flanges and Manual Operator
Give the exact nominal connection size and required flow bore independently. Request flange standard, drilling, facing and face-to-face dimensions, then compare them with the mating pipeline. Include installation orientation, surrounding clearance and access for the manual operator. Confirm whether the proposed operator meets the required operating arrangement and whether the drawings show the same assembly as the quotation.
Qualify API 6D Scope and Service Conditions
Identify the required API 6D edition and conformity scope, and obtain the selected model's supporting test records. Describe the fluid composition, operating pressure and temperature together, including relevant operating changes. Ask for a qualified pressure-temperature envelope and assess flow requirements at the intended differential pressure. A broad temperature range, flow figure or qualitative pressure label does not establish this operating envelope. Complete the enquiry with the approved section drawing, interface dimensions, material requirements and documented duty limits.
