This ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel tee enquiry references eight-inch supply, welded connection, black painting and Class 150 oil/gas requirements. Confirm the selected run and branch dimensions before ordering. The sole actual variant uses a customizable size label rather than an accepted completed geometry.
Define all three ends of the selected tee
Specify run and branch nominal sizes, outside diameters, each end wall, centre-to-end dimensions, orientation and tolerances. Equal requires matching actual branch and run ends on the accepted drawing. The eight-inch title requirement does not independently define every opening or wall.
Entries of 1 in dimensional, pressure, feature and thread fields lack a defined usable basis. Do not infer a unit, operating limit or named thread from them. Dark three-opening photographs illustrate tee examples without certifying the selected grade, equal dimensions, coating system or standard.
Accept the WPB certificate and welded preparation
Obtain the exact selected product material specification, grade, heat-traceable certificate and matching identification for the A234 WPB request. A material specification does not supply a complete dimensional standard or numerical pressure rating. Identify the actual applicable drawing and compliance scope explicitly.
Define weld preparation, matching pipe walls, joining method and inspection acceptance. The Other manufacturing label does not establish forging, casting or seamless production. Request actual route records. For black painting, specify preparation, coating composition, selected surfaces, thickness and acceptance; photographic colour alone does not establish corrosion performance.
Qualify the actual oil and gas operating conditions
Class 150 needs its governing standard, selected material and temperature basis rather than a universal 150-psi interpretation. Oil/gas naming supplies no independent approval for a particular fluid. Assess actual medium composition, pressure, temperature, cycles and full welded assembly. Enquire with selected run/branch geometry, certificate, end drawing, production/coating requirements and documented duty.
