This forged welding pipe fitting is presented for oil applications. Its title calls it a tee, while both selectable variants call it a reducer. Use the common fitting description for enquiries until the actual connection arrangement and supply drawing have been agreed.
Confirm the tee or reducer arrangement
Identify the component on an approved drawing showing nominal ends, any branch, wall thickness and installation envelope. The Equal entry does not settle the conflicting type labels. Specify the intended geometry and dimensional tolerances instead of assuming a particular transition or branch layout.
The available size label spans 1/2 inch to 110 inch, but the table uses Metric and customized values. Confirm the exact ordered size, dimensional system, overall length and height. Allocate the customized hole and thread entries to actual features, if applicable; the range does not prove availability at every size.
Separate manufacturing route from welding requirements
Forged appears in the title and table. The additional seamless and welded wording requires production clarification: identify the actual manufacturing route separately from welding used to connect the fitting. Obtain the selected material designation, condition, governing specification, heat traceability and inspection records for the carbon steel or a234wpb option.
State the applicable document and edition behind the ASTM reference and confirm dimensional requirements under B16.9 where selected. Neither reference alone establishes certification. Define welding preparation, mating components, examination and acceptance, together with the painting system, surface preparation and delivery protection.
Define the actual oil service envelope
Provide fluid composition, numerical pressure and temperature, cycling, corrosion exposure and mechanical loads. High Pressure with an Other class entry supplies no numerical limit. Agree material and joint acceptance and include the resolved geometry, dimensions, production route, connection, coating and test requirements in the quotation.
