This listing concerns steel pipe for offshore platform structural support. The title references large diameter and seamless construction, while the table lists ERW and competing Non-Alloy and stainless steel classifications. Start with the required member drawing and confirm the actual supply before assigning structural properties to the pipe.
Use the member schedule to define the enquiry
Identify the member position, function, connection details and required documentation. The variants offer 6 m or 12 m lengths with a thickness range of 6–20 mm. Specify the actual cut length, outside diameter, bore and wall for the selected position rather than treating the full range as an installed component.
Relate the listed 219–1066 mm diameter range to the approved drawing. Set straightness, roundness, ends and joint geometry, and clarify the measurement covered by ±1%. Photographs of bundled pipes and red protectors cannot demonstrate the selected diameter, wall or fit with neighbouring members and connections.
Trace actual material and production to the order
Request the supplied grade, condition, manufacturing route and traceable material inspection package. Resolve stainless and Non-Alloy classifications through documentation. Establish seamless or ERW construction from production records. Where ASTM requirements apply, identify the actual specification, edition and product coverage instead of relying on the generic table label.
Confirm finish, Non-oiled condition and surface protection against the intended exposure and handling. Cold Rolled wording does not establish mechanical performance, and end-cover colour does not identify a protective coating. General API or ISO 9001 entries do not constitute offshore structural approval of the offered pipe.
Link structural assessment to inspection criteria
Provide the load cases, cycles, support arrangement, environmental exposure and joint requirements. Review the verified material condition, geometry and route against those inputs. Agree dimensional, material, end, surface and project-required tests with acceptance criteria and records tied to supplied members. The listing alone establishes no allowable capacity, fatigue life or guaranteed marine corrosion resistance.
