The DN150 6-inch carbon steel forged weld-neck flange Class 150 A105 enquiry starts at the pipe-to-neck transition. Match the pipe and flange on an accepted drawing before evaluating the bolted interface or installed operating conditions.
Match the pipe wall and weld-neck transition
Confirm nominal-size correspondence, pipe outside diameter, pipe wall, flange bore, neck geometry and weld-end preparation. DN150 and 6-inch naming describes nominal enquiry requirements rather than measured diameters. The shared 1/2"~24" range also cannot establish discrete available sizes.
Twelve actual variants offer Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel and six constructions. Select weld-neck supply explicitly. Blind, slip-on, socket-weld, lap-joint and threaded choices require their own acceptance criteria rather than inheriting the requested neck and weld-end arrangement.
Verify the full flange interface and class basis
Check outside diameter, thickness, facing geometry and roughness, bolt circle, hole quantity/diameter and tolerances together with the mating gasket and fasteners. The Bolt Hole Diameter range and quantity 6 do not define drilling across every size or construction.
Class 150 requires the agreed governing dimensional/rating standard, edition, scope and selected compliance evidence. It is not one constant operating pressure. The two viewed ring and short-hub flange references cannot certify the requested weld-neck geometry, nominal size or pressure class.
Accept A105 manufacture and complete joint duty
A105 requires the chosen carbon steel specification, product form, condition and heat-traceable material/inspection documents. It cannot certify stainless alternatives. Forged and CNC Machined wording needs production and dimensional records; appearance cannot establish either process acceptance or material condition.
For construction duty, identify actual medium composition, pressure, temperature, cycling and mechanical loads. Submit nominal-size mapping, the full neck/interface drawing, pipe wall and weld-end requirements, material/manufacturing evidence and mating assembly details. Assess the welded pipe and bolted joint together when accepting the operating envelope.
