This pipe flange listing references FBE coating for direct-buried and marine pipeline enquiries. Anti-Corrosion, ISO and ANSI wording also appears in the title. Confirm the actual flange configuration and coating specification before treating those references as an accepted environmental protection package.
Specify the coating and covered surfaces
Request the coating material requirements, surface preparation, thickness, covered areas and inspection criteria for the supplied component. FBE wording does not provide actual application or inspection records. Agree which surfaces receive coating and which mating surfaces must retain the finish required by the joint design.
The table lists Polished, so clarify how that finish relates to the proposed coating package. Define acceptance for damage inspection and repair where the project requires it. Anti-corrosion wording is not a service-life guarantee or evidence that one treatment suits every buried or marine environment.
Select the flange and connection drawing
Choose the actual material, flange type and nominal size from the broad selectable range. Provide facing, thickness, bore or closure details and the full bolt pattern, together with connection requirements specific to the chosen type. Verify the four half-inch holes listed in the table against that drawing.
Identify the numbered specification, edition and actual class requirements behind the title references. The pressure-class wording does not establish a universal operating limit, and ISO/ANSI labels do not supply certification. Confirm exact availability rather than applying one drawing across the shared 1/2–120 inch range.
Describe burial or marine exposure
Provide soil or water chemistry, moisture or salinity, treatment chemicals, installation conditions and mechanical protection requirements. Include pressure, temperature, cycles and joint requirements for assessment. Agree actual material records, coating and dimensional inspections, marking, preservation and delivery. The application description does not establish blanket seawater approval or environmental service acceptance.
