Thread TypesNPT
This galvanized cast carbon steel coupling is listed with female NPT threading, weld wording and half/full configurations. The single variant is 10 mm carbon steel. Select the actual arrangement and interface schedule before assigning the coupling to a project or finalizing the quotation.
Specify the half or full arrangement and interfaces
Provide a drawing identifying connection count, nominal ends, wall and tolerances. Clarify the Reducing entry and confirm whether a half or full coupling is required and available. The generic variant does not establish both configurations for the selected order.
Allocate weld and female NPT wording to actual ends. Define welding preparation where relevant and the complete thread designation, engagement, mating parts, sealing and examination. Confirm the role of the 10 mm size against the inch dimensional system, 4 in length and 0.26 in hole, with installation clearance.
Define galvanized casting and material acceptance
Specify the complete carbon steel designation, condition, governing ASTM document and edition. Obtain traceability, casting and inspection records for the component. Identify the selected B16.11 requirements and conformity evidence; general standard references and casting wording do not establish certification.
Agree the galvanizing method, coating coverage and thickness criteria, together with measurable Smooth surface requirements. Define coating and thread inspection, handling protection and delivery acceptance. The finish descriptions do not establish corrosion lifetime or suitability for every environment.
Confirm Class 3000 and environmental duty evidence
State the governing rating basis at the actual material and temperature rather than treating the class number as operating pressure. Provide medium, numerical duty, cycling, corrosion exposure and loads. Clarify which feature claims apply, including any buried installation, and obtain relevant flexibility, chemical or UV evidence. Document material/joint acceptance with the selected drawing, casting, interfaces, coating and testing package.
