A socket-weld reducing tee request should identify the component form before its dimensions are accepted. For a DN25 by DN15 requirement, confirm whether the supplied component is a three-ended tee body or a separate branch outlet, then define the run and branch interfaces.
Establish the reducing tee body and its connections
Show the requested fitting on an assembly drawing, identifying each pipe connection and the role of the branch. A tee body and a separate outlet require different attachment details, so the exact form should remain explicit throughout the enquiry. Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel are actual material choices, but selecting a family does not by itself define the fitting body or connection arrangement.
Assign DN25 and DN15 to the run and branch
State which nominal size belongs to the run and which belongs to the branch, with the actual pipe dimensions and wall requirements included. Specify the socket geometry where a socket-weld connection is required. Any butt-weld or thread requirement should be assigned to the appropriate interface and confirmed separately. A single millimetre size choice cannot establish the complete nominal-size pair or every end connection needed for the reducing arrangement.
Confirm A105 and class for the selected configuration
If the intended carbon steel fitting requires A105, state that grade requirement explicitly and obtain confirmation for the selected form. Identify the applicable fitting standard and class, then provide the medium and design pressure and temperature for the rating review. Class 3000 is not a direct working-pressure value. The final reducing-tee enquiry should link the confirmed body form, all connection details and run/branch dimensions to the same material and service requirements.
