This flange enquiry focuses on a blind raised-face requirement with B16.5, Class 150 and stainless grades 304, 316 or 316L referenced in the title. Before selecting a model, clarify the required closure construction and individual nominal size. The proposed item should be identified by a drawing and material records that match the same flange and mating joint.
Clarify size before checking the bolt pattern
Explain the required nominal size and what the 100MM option measures in relation to the two-inch title reference. Do not assume those labels describe the same dimension. Obtain flange thickness, bolt circle, all hole dimensions and facing details on a selected-model drawing. The table provides a hole diameter and count, but those two values cannot establish a complete compatible pattern without the remaining dimensions.
Verify the blank model and selected grade
Confirm that the offered flange has the blank closure required for the line opening; an open-bore sample image cannot demonstrate that construction. Specify the exact stainless grade, governing material specification and edition and request traceable material records. A carbon-steel alternative requires its own grade assessment. Where forged construction is required, obtain production and inspection evidence for the selected item rather than accepting a general process label.
Assess the raised-face closure in service
State the B16.5 edition, required Class 150 and raised-face acceptance details. Match the flange to its mating component and sealing requirements, with dimensional conformity and material-dependent joint rating evidence. Provide the actual fluid, operating pressure and temperature plus assembly and inspection criteria. The general application list does not establish suitability for those conditions. An assessable enquiry links the confirmed size and blank model to one grade, mating pattern and documented service requirement.
