Start this ASME B16.5 SS316L forged polished slip-on flange enquiry with the required material and pressure-class specification. Confirm the intended Class 150 requirement behind the title's designation; it is not an operating-pressure value. Model4056 identifies the listing, while actual supply needs a component-specific quotation.
Identify the open-bore slip-on component being quoted
The reference images include closed-center plates and an open-center flange, so confirm the actual construction before planning pipe fit. Thirty-six recorded combinations span four materials and nine flange types. Specify the Stainless Steel and Slip On Flange combination for this enquiry rather than attributing title properties to every option.
The generic Stainless Steel choice does not certify SS316L grade. Obtain the full material designation, condition and traceable certificates, together with accepted forging and manufacturing records. One shared half-inch-to120-inch size label requires individual nominal-size and availability confirmation.
Check the class and bolting package together
Identify the governing B16.5 document/edition and applicable size/class/material provisions. The table records four half-inch bolt holes; confirm their allocation to the actual component. Define bolt-circle diameter, hole arrangement, bore/pipe fit, outside diameter, thickness, hub profile, facing dimensions and tolerances on an approved drawing.
Specify the polished surfaces and accepted finish/inspection criteria. A bright reference image does not establish corrosion resistance, hygienic suitability or dimensional conformity. Agree slip-on attachment preparation, mating flange, gasket, fasteners and alignment requirements for the complete joint.
Approve actual service before releasing supply
Provide medium, pressure, temperature, cycling and external loads. The title's class reference alone does not establish numerical operating capability. Industrial-equipment use needs joint-specific acceptance and installation inspection. Agree material/manufacturing/dimensional inspection, marking/traceability, confirmed size availability, documentation and quotation scope.
