This stainless steel ASTM A234 SCH40/SCH80 forged welded pipe-fitting enquiry needs a selected component and wall drawing before acceptance. Establish the delivered subtype and geometry rather than assigning the title's 90-degree naming to every actual reducer choice.

Choose a component and measured wall

Fifteen actual reducer variants cover 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 50 mm and 30 mm with Stainless Steel, Alloy or Carbon Steel. Select one existing combination and define the size's measurement basis. A single label does not identify both ends of a transition.

Request the supplied subtype, end diameters, bores, wall thicknesses, overall length, transition or bend profile and tolerances. If a bend is required, specify angle and radius explicitly. Choose the applicable schedule on the accepted size-specific drawing; SCH40 and SCH80 naming does not create actual schedule variants or establish measured wall.

Accept material scope and body manufacture

Confirm the applicable scope of A234 for the selected material, together with the grade, product form, condition and traceable inspection records. Stainless Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel are distinct alternatives. Stainless naming cannot establish a grade or apply one specification to every option.

Welded wording needs clarification of the actual body manufacturing route separately from installation welding. Forged naming requires production evidence. The two viewed reducer references, including an offset-looking form, cannot certify supplied angle, alignment, schedule, material or process.

Review delivered ends and Class 150 service

Confirm end preparation and fit to the mating pipe diameters and walls. Hexagon wording and the mounting-hole entry do not provide complete end geometry. Painting requires coating, surface preparation and inspection acceptance rather than a conclusion based on dark appearance.

Class 150 needs the applicable component standard and material-temperature operating basis. State medium composition, pressure, temperature, cycling, flow and external loads. Review the selected subtype and full end/wall drawing alongside material/manufacturing and coating records before accepting the complete joint for service.
