This ST HDPE large-diameter welded elbow enquiry concerns building-water supply and drainage connections. Agree the actual supplied material and fitting configuration before ordering against the product name. The purchase specification should identify each component, both pipe ends and the operating conditions.

Define the water-supply connection

The actual size label is 10 mm, so state whether it represents a nominal size, outside diameter, bore or another measurement. Large-diameter wording does not select a dimension. The 4 in overall length, 10cm height and 0.2-inch mounting-hole entries describe other dimensions rather than replacement pipe-end sizes.

Provide a drawing with the required angle, centerline radius, center-to-end dimensions, inlet and outlet geometry, bore, wall and tolerances. Specify the joining arrangement and any welding preparation or NPT/BSPT feature by the relevant component and end. Do not infer the delivered size or angle from a reference photograph.

Document material and production requirements

Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel choices are alternatives and need the selected specification, grade, product condition and inspection traceability. Where an HDPE component is requested, identify its accepted material designation and any separate connecting parts. Title naming alone cannot certify the assembly's composition.

Match forged and welded wording to the accepted material and applicable production or attachment step. Request the relevant manufacturing and inspection evidence. Agree the polished finish without treating appearance as proof of corrosion resistance or water-service approval. Use ST as an enquiry reference and confirm provenance when manufacturer identity matters.

Set numerical acceptance for the project

Provide the actual medium, pressure, temperature, cycling and imposed loads. Class 1000 naming requires its governing standard and material-temperature basis; low-pressure wording gives no numerical limit. Agree installation and inspection requirements, requested OEM, ODM or OBM scope, and the stated three-year warranty terms with the quotation.
