This flange enquiry focuses on an RTJ sealing interface, a stainless-steel material requirement and a socket-weld connection with DN8 named in the title. Confirm how those requirements come together in the selected model. The flange construction, pipe receiving socket and sealing face need a coordinated drawing before the proposed joint can be checked.

Define the RTJ mating seal

Request the required groove geometry and identify the matching seal and mating flange. Confirm the governing interface specification, facing dimensions, flange thickness and complete bolting pattern. A photograph of concentric face grooves cannot establish the selected seal geometry or acceptance tolerances. Review the mating components together so the enquiry describes a complete sealing interface instead of a facing label alone.

Map DN8 to the socket and pipe

State the individual nominal size and provide the mating pipe outside diameter and wall dimensions. Ask for the socket and bore dimensions and the required joint preparation on the selected drawing. Clarify the relationship between DN8 and the millimetre option values through a model-specific size map. The combined socket-weld and plate wording also needs a defined construction; generic Female/Male or Reducing fields cannot supply the missing connection geometry.

Confirm material and joint acceptance

Specify the exact stainless grade, material standard and edition, then obtain traceable material and manufacturing records. Carbon-steel alternatives require their own assessment. Identify the governing flange standard and required pressure designation, with dimensional conformity and material-dependent rating evidence for the actual item. Provide fluid, pressure and temperature plus fabrication, sealing and inspection requirements for the assembled joint. A process label or standalone Pipe Class entry does not establish a qualified manufacturing route or allowable service.
