This stainless-steel flange enquiry carries DN1600, SS304 and Class 150 requirements with an ASME B16.47 reference. The Flange options and open-bore ring photograph establish the family. Selection starts by confirming the actual nominal size and construction, so the proposed dimensional standard and material records describe the same flange.
Resolve nominal size and the proposed flange construction
Ask how the millimetre option labels relate to the requested DN1600 and obtain the selected bore and nominal-size mapping. Confirm what SO means for the offered model and whether its size and construction are covered by the proposed B16.47 edition. Identify the applicable dimensional series or agreed engineered basis and acceptance records. The two photographed rings cannot establish measured size, slip-on construction or standard conformity. Customized Size does not prove arbitrary capability or availability.
Match the complete drilling and gasket-contact geometry
Record bore, flange outside diameter, thickness, bolt-circle diameter, hole count and diameter, face form and required surface finish on the drawing. The isolated mounting-hole field and Smooth label do not define a full drilling pattern or gasket-contact finish. Match both mating flanges, gasket and bolting before agreeing installation clearance and assembly procedure. Define the required welded attachment to the pipe and its inspection requirements for the selected construction.
Verify SS304 records and the actual joint duty
Select Stainless Steel for the SS304 requirement and obtain the exact material specification, grade and traceable records. Carbon Steel and Alloy alternatives need separate assignments. Verify Forged through production and inspection evidence rather than surface appearance. Class 150 is a class requirement and does not alone state allowable pressure at the intended temperature. Supply fluid, pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions for assessment of the complete flange, gasket and bolting assembly. Acceptance should connect the resolved drawing to material and manufacturing evidence.
