This carbon steel elbow listing addresses shipbuilding and marine pipelines with JIS B2311, SS400 and welded references. The table includes Welding and NPT. Confirm the actual supplied grade, end method and selected geometry before matching the fitting to a marine-system drawing or project specification.
Resolve supplied ends and the meaning of welded
Specify welded or threaded ends on the selected drawing, including mating pipes, bevels or required threads and inspection criteria. Welding and NPT entries do not establish one actual connection. Clarify whether welded describes manufacture or installation, then verify the production package against the FORGED table entry.
Request the actual specification, grade SS400, condition, traceability and material inspection records. Identify the JIS B2311 edition, product coverage and conformity requirements for the order. Shipbuilding and marine wording does not establish ship-class approval or acceptance by the project without the required supplied documentation.
Select the 45-degree elbow geometry for the line
The option provides a half-inch to 12-inch range, not one actual fitting. Define nominal size, outside diameter, bore, wall, angle, radius and centre-to-end dimensions. The original image shows several curved fittings of different forms and cannot measure the selected 45-degree elbow or identify its supplied grade.
Confirm actual overall length, height and end tolerances. Repeated mounting-hole ranges and Hexagon wording do not establish a flange, threaded end or complete feature layout. Verify the actual smooth finish, protection and preservation. The corrosion-resistant label does not guarantee compatibility with seawater or any other proposed marine medium.
Agree marine exposure and traceable line acceptance
Provide actual medium, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, external exposure, loads and joint requirements. Low Pressure and Not Rated entries supply no numerical allowable limit. Review the documented material and geometry against those inputs. Agree material, dimensional, angle, radius, end, surface and required project tests with criteria and traceable reports before approving the elbow.
