This carbon steel elbow listing targets power-plant boilers with Class 3000, A105, forged and socket-weld references. The table lists Welding, NPT and Not Rated. Confirm the actual end geometry and supplied rating package before treating the fitting as an approved classed component for a boiler connection.
Resolve socket-weld ends and the supplied rating basis
Obtain the selected end drawing and specify socket-weld or threaded supply. Welding and NPT entries do not establish the socket dimensions referenced in the title. Define actual end geometry, mating-pipe requirements and inspection criteria rather than assuming both connection methods apply to one ordered elbow.
Resolve Class 3000 against Not Rated through the actual fitting specification, size, class coverage and rating documents. High Pressure wording supplies no numerical allowable pressure or temperature. Identify the governing specification and edition and the conformity package needed for the boiler project before approving the stated class.
Verify A105 material and selected elbow dimensions
Request the actual material specification, grade, condition, traceability and inspection records, together with manufacturing evidence for the FORGED entry. The original image shows two curved open-ended fittings; it cannot verify A105 chemistry, class, socket geometry or a measured 90-degree angle.
The half-inch to 12-inch option is a range. Specify nominal size, outside diameter, bore, wall, angle, radius, centre-to-end and selected socket or thread dimensions. Confirm actual length and height. Hexagon and mounting-hole fields do not establish a flange or connection layout; verify actual smooth finish and protection for the supplied fitting.
Agree boiler duty and traceable component acceptance
Provide medium, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, gradients, loads and joint details. Review the documented material condition, geometry and rating basis against the actual installation. Agree material, dimensional, angle, radius, end, surface and required project tests with criteria and traceable reports. Neither a numerical thermal limit nor power-plant approval follows from the title alone.
