This carbon steel elbow listing addresses high-temperature steam pipelines with heavy-wall SCH160, A234 WPC and seamless references. The table lists Welding, NPT and Technic Other. Confirm the actual connection, supplied material and manufacturing evidence before using the title to select a thermal-service fitting.
Resolve steam-line ends and the supplied WPC material
Specify welded or threaded ends through a selected drawing. Welding and NPT entries do not establish one verified end method. Define bevels or selected threads, end dimensions and mating-pipe requirements. Request the material specification, grade WPC, condition, traceability and inspection package for the actual order.
Obtain manufacturing records to establish the seamless route referenced in the title; Technic Other supplies no process definition. Identify the applicable A234 edition, product coverage and steam-project conformity requirements. The original photograph shows one curved open-ended fitting but cannot verify material, construction or thermal capability.
Define the selected wall and 90-degree drawing
The half-inch to 12-inch choice is a range. SCH160 requires the selected nominal size and applicable specification before assigning an actual wall. Specify outside diameter, bore, wall, angle, radius and centre-to-end dimensions. Neither heavy-wall wording nor the photograph establishes numerical strength or a measured 90-degree angle.
Confirm actual length, height and end tolerances. Repeated dimension and mounting-hole ranges, together with Hexagon wording, do not establish a flange or complete hole layout. Verify actual surface condition, smooth finish and preservation; corrosion-resistant wording alone provides no guarantee for the selected steam chemistry or exposure.
Agree thermal cycles and traceable steam acceptance
Provide steam quality, composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, gradients, loads and joint details. Low Pressure and Not Rated entries define no numerical allowable thermal limits. Assess the documented condition and geometry against the actual duty. Agree material, dimensional, wall, angle, radius, end, surface and required project tests with criteria and reports before approval.
