This SCH80S forged straight tee fitting enquiry concerns construction, with B16.9 and A403 WP304L stainless steel title references. Both actual variants instead identify carbon-steel Reducers. Confirm the ordered shape and material before procurement; the catalogue does not establish a certified stainless tee configuration through those options.
Reconcile the straight tee and carbon Reducer records
Ask the supplier to confirm the actual component and full material designation. Stainless WP304L and carbon steel/a234wpb labels are not interchangeable. If a straight tee is supplied, specify all run/branch sizes and equal or reducing geometry; an actual reducer needs its correct two-end specification.
Obtain outside diameters, bores, wall thickness, center-to-end dimensions and joining details through an accepted drawing. Resolve Hexagon against the drawing, identify actual end details rather than relying on Customized Size thread wording, and define plain-finish inspection.
Approve construction duty after identity reconciliation
High Pressure and Other class leave operating limits unspecified. Provide medium, pressure, temperature, exposure, cycling and loads for compatibility acceptance. Agree matching pipe, joining, support, inspection, marking, material/process/dimensional records, warranty terms and quotation scope for the confirmed shape and material.
