This hot-dip galvanized carbon steel 90-degree elbow is listed with forged manufacture and a welded connection for construction enquiries. Its size option covers a half-inch to 12-inch range. Confirm the individual geometry, coating requirements and connection schedule before approving the component for a project.
Define the galvanized finish and its acceptance records
Request the governing coating specification, process and extent of coverage for the ordered elbow. Agree measurable thickness, coverage, surface condition and inspection criteria. The smooth table entry does not establish coating thickness, and the title does not prove corrosion suitability for every environment.
Confirm the complete carbon steel designation and condition, governing material document and edition, forging evidence, certificates and traceability. Coordinate coating condition at the actual connection areas through approved supply requirements. Agree inspection, handling and delivery protection rather than relying on the general finish label.
Specify the 90-degree dimensions and individual ends
Select a nominal size and state the sizing convention, actual radius, wall thickness and tolerances. Obtain finished length, height and hole dimensions instead of reusing the range repeated in the table. Clarify the Hexagon head code on the drawing and confirm mating pipe dimensions.
Resolve welded connection wording against NPT through an end-by-end schedule. Include preparation, full thread details where applicable, mating parts, sealing and examination. No long-radius, seamless or butt-weld preparation is selected by this record, so confirm the actual joint arrangement explicitly.
Assess the construction environment and operating envelope
Describe the medium composition, pressure and temperature limits, cycling, external exposure and loads. Low Pressure and Not Rated leave numerical duty unconfirmed. Evaluate the selected material, coating and joints against those conditions and obtain a documented rating basis. Include the agreed coating, dimensional, connection and testing records in the final acceptance package.
