The slip-on flange enquiry in this listing combines A105 carbon-steel and ASME/ANSI B16.5 requirements. Its first decision is the actual model and pipe-to-bore fit. Mixed flange and blank forms appear in the photographs, so a selected section drawing is needed before assigning a slip-on construction to a particular size and material option.
Match the slip-on bore to the pipe
State nominal pipe size, outside diameter and wall thickness, then obtain the offered bore dimensions and required joining locations. Explain the dimensional basis of the millimetre options. If reducing geometry is required, define the specific pipe and bore relationship on the drawing; the Reducing field alone does not establish that configuration. Check flange thickness, outside diameter and any applicable hub dimensions against the adjoining pipe and installation space. The Female/Male and Round labels do not replace a measured section.
Specify the face and complete bolt pattern
Identify the required sealing-face geometry and finish, bolt circle, hole count and hole diameters. Smooth does not qualify a sealing finish, and one mounting-hole value cannot define the full drilling pattern. Match the mating flange, gasket and bolting to the selected face and assembly procedure. Confirm the applicable B16.5 edition, class and dimensional and inspection criteria; the ASME/ANSI wording should be clarified within one agreed acceptance specification.
Verify A105 and the finished joint
Choose carbon steel for the A105 requirement and request its full material specification and traceable records. Stainless-steel alternatives need separate grade selection. Manufacturing evidence must resolve the process description before a forged route is accepted. Provide fluid, pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions and agree joining and inspection requirements. Pipe Class 150 alone is not a documented allowable-duty limit. Tie acceptance to the selected fit drawing and matching material, production and complete-joint records.
