This stainless steel lap-joint flange enquiry concerns dimensions and material specifications, with lock nuts also mentioned in the title. The actual variants identify Flange only. Confirm which components are included before assigning a lap-joint form or treating additional hardware as part of the selected product.
Define the flange and lock-nut scope separately
Request a written component list for the quotation. There is no separate Lock Nut option or confirmed hardware bundle in the actual variants. If lock nuts are proposed, identify their dimensions, thread details, exact material and intended assembly role. The title alone does not establish inclusion, a locking mechanism or compatibility. The retained Elbow body label likewise does not identify an offered elbow option.
Request the complete lap-joint arrangement drawing
For the intended lap assembly, obtain a section drawing showing the selected flange and every required mating component, including any specified stub end or lap component. Confirm whether those additional parts are supplied. The reviewed photos include a patterned-bore open flange and mixed open/closed examples; they do not map actual threading or lap-joint geometry to a variant. Record bore, outside diameter, thickness, relevant clearances, bolt circle, hole details and facing, then match the complete interface to the pipe and mating joint.
Specify materials and acceptance for each included component
Explain the nominal convention behind the millimetre menu label; it does not give the actual bore or a complete size range. Equal, Hexagon, mounting-hole and Customized Size fields leave assembly details unresolved. Obtain exact material specifications and traceability for the flange and any included hardware. No stainless grade or numbered flange standard is established, while Alloy and Carbon Steel alternatives need separate requirements. Verify Forged, actual pipe attachment and surface condition beyond Smooth. Clarify Class 150's material-temperature basis and assess actual service and mechanical loads across the confirmed attachment, flange, gasket and bolting where applicable.
