This ERW carbon steel pipe enquiry combines Grade B PSL2 wording under API 5L with hydraulic and oil/gas transport applications. The actual variants choose thickness and length, so the material and specification level should be confirmed separately for the selected supply.

Confirm Grade B PSL2 through the supply documents

Request the applicable API 5L edition, selected grade, product specification level and material condition. Obtain chemistry, mechanical properties, weld inspection and traceability evidence required by the order. PSL2 wording in the title does not independently demonstrate conformity or qualification for sour fluids or hydrogen.

The table also uses a generic ASTM label without a numbered specification. Clarify that reference rather than assuming dual certification or equivalent requirements. Ask the supplier to explain the recorded cold-rolled and ERW production sequence and the acceptance documents for the actual pipe.

Define dimensions and the relevant bore requirements

The available lengths are 6 m and 12 m with a 6–20 mm thickness entry, while the outside-diameter field spans 219–1066 mm. State the exact diameter, wall and length combination, tolerance basis, straightness, ovality and end details. Confirm which dimension the stated ±1% covers.

Hydraulic use may need specific bore finish, cleanliness or additional processing. Identify those requirements explicitly; the listing does not establish a honed or finished cylinder bore. Oil and gas transport needs its own medium, pressure, temperature, cycling and load assessment for the selected pipe and joints.

Agree surface condition and procurement acceptance

Black title wording does not define a paint or protective coating system. Confirm the delivered surface and any specified protection alongside the Non-oiled table entry. Obtain actual certificate scope instead of relying on API or ISO 9001 labels, then agree tests, storage and preservation, actual-weight invoicing and delivery timing for the chosen order.
