This stainless butt-weld elbow enquiry lists AISI SS321, 316 and 304 with seamless or welded manufacturing alternatives. The menu does not assign those exact grades or routes to individual variants. Specify one material and body route separately from the pipe joint, then connect both requirements to the selected elbow drawing.
Separate body manufacture from butt-weld joining
Ask whether the selected elbow body is seamless or manufactured with a weld, with production and inspection records supporting that answer. Butt welding describes the requested pipe connection; it does not prove either body route. The table's Forged entry also needs production evidence rather than an assumed contradiction. Clarify the actual coating and joint-zone condition beyond Painting before defining joining requirements.
Pair one stainless grade with its material documents
Select one exact grade with a complete material specification, edition and traceability. The title grades are not automatically equivalent or jointly qualified. The broad Stainless Steel option does not establish their individual assignment; Alloy and Carbon Steel alternatives need separate requirements. The photographs show curved fittings and visible markings, without proving every variant's metallurgy, schedule, angle or manufacture. Do not use those markings to overwrite the selected material requirement.
Complete the bend and both pipe-end dimensions
No angle, radius or schedule is assigned by this page. Obtain the required bend angle and tolerance, centreline radius, centre-to-end dimensions and orientation. Explain the millimetre nominal-size convention and verify both end diameters and walls, including the Equal relationship. Hexagon, the mounting-hole value and Customized Size are insufficient. Establish the dimensional requirements, butt-weld preparation and joining inspection with both pipes. Clarify Pipe Class 150's basis, then assess fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and bend loads across the elbow and completed joints.
