This pipe end cap is listed for water supply systems, with threaded flange and corrosion-resistant wording in the title. Its material records disagree: the title describes stainless steel, while the only variant specifies carbon steel. Confirm the supplied material before treating either description as the selected specification.
Resolve material and the intended cap connection
The title names stainless steel with 304/316 alternatives, but the actual variant is Cap / 10 mm / Carbon Steel. Request a material certificate and a consistent selected configuration. Neither stainless grade nor carbon steel should be assumed for the supplied item from this conflicting record.
The table identifies Flange connectivity without thread details. Obtain a drawing explaining the threaded flange arrangement, applicable thread specification, mating interface, face, drilling and joining requirements. Confirm the meaning of 10 mm and the required nominal size, wall and dimensional tolerances.
Allocate the table geometry and painted condition
Four-inch overall length and quarter-inch mounting-hole diameter are recorded with round shape, hexagon head and inch measurement system. Assign relevant entries to the selected drawing instead of using them as pipe size. The machining entry also needs manufacturing and inspection records for the resolved construction.
