This Class 150 carbon steel flange olet enquiry concerns polished industrial equipment connections. The title names a flange olet, but the catalogue offers generic flange types without a separate branch-outlet selection. Obtain confirmation of the intended construction before choosing an option or issuing an order.
Resolve the flange olet and branch arrangement
Ask whether the supplier proposes a branch outlet, a conventional flange or another documented assembly. Where a branch is intended, specify run and branch nominal sizes, orientation, attachment detail, bore, wall thickness and branch dimensions. Request the complete approved drawing rather than deriving geometry from a generic type label.
The four material groups and nine flange types are alternatives. Carbon steel choices do not establish that every type meets the title application. The shared half-inch-to-120-inch range likewise provides no selected size or evidence that each standard covers every offered combination.
Assign the title standards and four-hole drilling
Confirm the governing documents, editions, applicable configuration and any required series. The combined ASME B16.9/B16.47 and ASTM A105/A403 references need allocation to the actual item; they are not a single blanket certification. Obtain the full material designation, condition, traceability, certificates and forging records.
The table lists a half-inch bolt hole diameter and four holes. Clarify the title half-inch reference before treating it as nominal pipe size. Check the selected bolt circle, drilling, facing, flange thickness and outside diameter against the mating equipment, and agree acceptance of the polished surface.
Check the Class 150 equipment assembly
Class 150 alone does not define operating pressure. Provide medium, pressure, temperature, corrosion conditions, cycling and loads for approval. Agree branch attachment or welding, matching components, support, alignment, inspection, marking, documentation and quotation scope for the accepted construction.
