This custom slip-on flange listing uses a duplex steel 2205 designation for marine application. CNC machining and a Polished finish are also named. The selectable Stainless Steel slip-on configuration supports the flange family, while the actual duplex grade and production requirements need confirmation for the order.
Translate CNC requirements into a drawing
Provide the drawing revision and required machining tolerances rather than assuming a precision level from CNC wording. Specify the bore and pipe fit, hub geometry, facing, thickness and full drilling pattern. Define the surfaces covered by Polished and the measurable finish criteria needed for acceptance.
The title and table state four half-inch bolt holes. Check the pattern against the mating component for the selected nominal size. A shared 1/2–120 inch range is listed across several materials and flange types; it does not demonstrate every duplex slip-on combination or one universal drilling layout.
Verify duplex material and connection requirements
Request the actual material designation, condition and traceability records supporting grade 2205. The generic Stainless Steel choice does not independently establish duplex composition or conformity. Identify the numbered material and flange specifications needed by the project and confirm their applicable editions.
Agree the pipe connection, welding and inspection requirements for the chosen design. Other selectable types and materials require their own drawings and acceptance criteria. They should not inherit the duplex designation, marine application or machining requirements simply because they share the product listing.
Describe the actual marine exposure
State whether the flange encounters seawater, marine atmosphere, splash, treatment chemicals or another environment, together with contaminants, temperature, pressure and operating cycles. Assess the material and joint for those conditions without assuming corrosion immunity or a guaranteed service life. Confirm inspection records, marking, preservation, availability and delivery for the selected component.
