This pipe fitting enquiry requests an ASME B16.9 butt-weld equal tee with stainless, alloy or carbon steel material selections. Establish the actual selected fitting type before approving branch dimensions. The supplied geometry, exact grade and standard acceptance must be documented for the chosen configuration.

Approve a complete three-end drawing

For a tee request, define run and branch nominal sizes, outside diameters, all end walls, centre-to-end dimensions, branch orientation and tolerances. Equal needs accepted same-size run/branch geometry. Elbow choices require a separate bend drawing and cannot be specified by a tee description.

The 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm labels do not define every end. The listed mounting hole of 0.26 in cannot be used as the pipe bore. Customized Size requires approved dimensions and inspection criteria. Dark gallery examples and protective blue covers cannot qualify selected equal bores, grade or coating.

Verify B16.9 scope and the actual material

Confirm the applicable B16.9 edition, selected dimensional scope, inspection records and supplied marking. The reference alone is not certification or a material specification. Request the exact product material specification, selected grade, heat-traceable certificate and matching identification.

Stainless Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel are distinct choices; no specific stainless or carbon grade is established here. Forged requires actual manufacturing and inspection evidence. Butt-welded supply needs selected preparation, matching pipe walls and joining/inspection acceptance before the assembly can be approved.

Specify coating and assess the joined duty

Painting requires defined surface preparation, coating extent, weld-area treatment and service compatibility. Photographic colour does not establish coating acceptance. A numerical service limit requires a complete rating basis beyond the Pipe Class 150 label. Assess actual material, walls and joined assembly against medium, pressure, temperature and governing design conditions. Send selected fitting type, complete end or bend drawing, exact certificate, B16.9 acceptance scope, weld/coating requirements and full duty with the enquiry.
