This stainless steel flange enquiry combines ASME B16.5, Class 150/300 and welding/threaded references. Use those as separate selection requirements: the actual Flange menu does not assign a connection or class to each size. Its body also retains an Elbow label, which does not identify a separate elbow option.
Distinguish the threaded and welded configurations
The first photograph shows an apparently threaded centre; the wider gallery includes several flange forms. Obtain the drawing for your chosen variant before deciding the connection. A threaded selection needs the full thread designation, engagement and matching pipe thread. A welded selection needs its actual bore and hub arrangement, preparation and joining requirements. Appearance alone cannot establish the supplied design or manufacturing route.
Reconcile the half-inch reference with the metric menu
The title's half-inch reference and the millimetre choices need an explicit nominal-size mapping. Neither label alone gives the measured bore. Confirm outside diameter, thickness, bolt circle, hole count and diameter, plus facing and surface finish. The generic Hexagon and mounting-hole entries do not define a complete flange interface. Check the mating flange, gasket and bolting against the selected drawing.
Select one class and document the stainless material
Choose Class 150 or Class 300 with the applicable B16.5 edition and material/temperature basis. These references do not prove dual-class supply or a fixed allowable pressure. Specify the exact stainless grade and traceable material documents; Alloy and Carbon Steel alternatives require their own assessment. Verify Forged through production records and the required face finish beyond Smooth. Provide the fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion conditions and joint loads so acceptance covers the flange and its complete assembled connection.
