This stainless tee enquiry references 304/316 and Thick Wall, without assigning a measured thickness or wall designation. Its actual variants include both TEE and Elbow. Select the intended fitting type first, then translate the wall requirement into a drawing and inspection specification for that particular choice.
Identify the run and branch on the selected tee drawing
For TEE, record both run ends and the branch with their nominal sizes, outside diameters and walls. Confirm the Equal relationship and branch orientation through the drawing. The photographs show dark tee examples with different apparent branch proportions; they do not prove an actual equal or reducing configuration. An Elbow choice instead needs its own angle, radius and two-end dimensions rather than tee geometry.
Replace the thick-wall label with measurable requirements
State the required minimum or nominal wall, tolerances, measurement locations and inspection evidence for each end and relevant body regions. Thick Wall alone does not establish a schedule, fixed thickness or pressure capacity. Explain the millimetre menu's nominal-size convention and map it to every connected pipe. Customized Size, Hexagon and the mounting-hole field cannot complete the drawing or measured-wall requirements.
Match one stainless grade to every completed joint
Choose either 304 or 316 with complete material specifications, edition and traceability; do not presume equivalence or dual qualification. Alloy and Carbon Steel choices require separate exact materials. Establish the dimensional requirements and actual Welding end details, preparation, alignment and inspection for the selected type. Verify Forged through production records and clarify Painting and joint-zone finish. Pipe Class 125 needs its standard, unit and material/temperature basis. Assess fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and branch or pipe loads across the chosen fitting and all adjoining joints.
