This seamless butt-weld pipe cap enquiry combines 304/304L stainless references with Schedule 40 and Sch80 alternatives. Actual Cap variants select broad material and millimetre size, without exact-grade or schedule options. Choose one grade and wall designation for the selected cap rather than treating every title reference as an assigned qualification.
Map one stainless grade and wall to the cap selection
Request the full material specification and traceable records for either 304 or 304L. Do not assume dual qualification. Select one wall designation and confirm its size-dependent dimensional basis with actual thickness measurements; do not silently change Schedule 40 or Sch80 to S-suffix schedules. Alloy and Carbon Steel alternatives need separate material assignments. The example cap markings in the photos do not qualify every variant.
Check cap depth and profile against the adjoining pipe
Explain each millimetre menu size and identify the matching pipe outside diameter. Obtain a drawing showing end wall, cap depth/profile, formed-wall inspection and butt-weld preparation. Generic Equal, Hexagon and mounting-hole fields do not establish these dimensions. The actual Cap options and title support this closure enquiry despite the imported Elbow name in the table. Customized Size does not establish an offered dimension or availability.
Verify manufacture and the complete butt-weld closure
Support Seamless and the Forged entry through actual production and inspection records rather than assuming the terms are incompatible or proven. Agree applicable numbered requirements and edition without adopting a standard from a sample photograph. Define pipe alignment, joining procedure and inspection around the cap weld. Clarify coating and weld-zone acceptance beyond Painting. Establish Pipe Class 150's standard and unit basis, then assess fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and loading for the cap, pipe and completed closure.
