This elbow enquiry references a carbon steel butt-weld, six-inch SCH80, ANSI B16.9 long-radius 90-degree requirement. Confirm the actual supplied material, size and connection before ordering. The sole selectable variant uses PPSU and 3/4-inch by 3/4-inch labels, so an accepted selected drawing is essential.
Confirm the delivered elbow and dimensional basis
Obtain explicit acceptance of one construction and exact material specification. Do not substitute a steel grade for PPSU or assume that the six-inch request selects the actual option. Identify actual end diameters, bore, walls, angle, radius, tangent lengths, centre-to-end dimensions and tolerances.
The length and height entries of 2.22 inches do not establish the selected radius or wall. The mounting-hole label is not the flow bore. Dark curved examples and differently sized photographed bends cannot certify actual material, schedule, standard or dimensions.
Specify one joining system and compliance scope
For an accepted steel butt-weld selection, verify the required schedule, end preparation, matching pipe wall and joining inspection. For a PEX-system request, identify actual compatible tubing, end system, assembly method and the relevant manufacturer's acceptance. PEX alone does not name a thread form.
Request exact grade or compound documentation, traceability and matching product identification. Confirm the actual manufacturing route rather than treating Injection as proof of selected delivery. ANSI B16.9 requires the applicable edition and documented selected-product compliance; title wording does not qualify an unconfirmed material or joint.
Establish duty after construction acceptance
Medium pressure and Medium pipe give no numerical operating envelope. Smooth supplies no measured roughness or coating acceptance. Assess actual medium, temperature, pressure cycles and the completed selected joint against an accepted governing basis. Enquire with confirmed material, dimensions, joining system, standard, route/finish records and full duty before installation approval.
