This custom forged carbon steel fitting is advertised for large-diameter oil and gas pipework. The original title says equal tee, while the actual options say Reducer. Confirm the component drawing before assigning either arrangement to the supplied fitting or preparing a quotation.
Specify the large-diameter component precisely
State the required nominal connection sizes, any branch, wall thickness and overall envelope. Large diameter is a description, not a numerical size. Establish the end relationship and layout on the drawing; the Equal table entry cannot resolve the tee/reducer discrepancy.
The 1/2 inch to 110 inch option needs an exact selected size and availability confirmation. Reconcile that label with the Metric system and customized dimensions. Define tolerances, length, height and any relevant mounting features. Custom wording does not replace a dimensional schedule or prove unlimited manufacturing capability.
Build a selected material and manufacturing package
Choose the complete carbon steel designation, condition and governing material specification. Allocate the a234wpb option to the actual order and obtain traceability, forging and inspection records. The general ASME and ASTM references need specific document numbers and editions; they do not establish a particular standard or certification.
Define welding preparation, mating pipe, joint acceptance and examination. Clarify whether customized thread wording relates to an actual interface. Specify the painting system, preparation, coating acceptance and protection needed during storage and delivery for the selected supply.
Record operating conditions for oil and gas enquiries
Provide medium composition, numerical pressure and temperature, cycling, corrosion exposure and mechanical loads. High Pressure alongside an Other class entry leaves the operating envelope undefined. Agree material and joint acceptance and include the resolved geometry, confirmed size availability, manufacturing, welding, painting and inspection requirements in the quotation.
