This Class 150 coated socket steel pipe enquiry is intended for water-supply specification. The title describes inner and outer painting, while the table records Galvanized. Clarify the actual finished coating and socket arrangement before assigning performance or selecting a connection for the intended water system.
Specify the internal and external water-pipe finish
Request the proposed substrate, layer sequence and coverage on both surfaces. The source does not establish whether painting, galvanizing or a documented combination will be supplied, and no epoxy chemistry is specified. Agree preparation, thickness, cure, adhesion and inspection for the accepted coating.
Confirm coating suitability for the actual water chemistry and obtain potable-water contact approval where relevant. Define field-joint treatment, repair and protection of connection surfaces. Clarify the Slightly Oiled entry against the finished condition instead of assuming it describes every coated surface.
Complete socket geometry and the unitless wall entry
Thickness 1.2 is offered with lengths 12 m, 6 m or 6.4 m. The wall unit and the unit for outer diameter 150–350 are absent. Specify actual bore, outside diameter and wall with units, and allocate ±10% to its intended property and acceptance criteria.
Obtain socket dimensions, engagement, joint/sealing method, end preparation, assembly procedure and testing. Ask what Flexible means and request movement/load limits without assuming a flexible pipe body. Complete the steel designation, ASTM document, manufacture, condition and traceability; generic special-pipe labels are insufficient certification.
Approve Class 150 water service as an assembly
Provide pressure, temperature, cycling, water chemistry, exposure and installation loads. Confirm the applicable rating basis and joint/coating compatibility; High Pressure alone gives no numerical duty. Verify API/CE/ISO 9001 record scope, then agree support, handling, inspection, marking, documentation and quotation scope.
