This GOST 17376 forged steel equal butt-weld tee enquiry concerns oil and water supplies. Both actual variants are labelled Reducer, so confirm the ordered family before procurement. The title and Equal table entry do not establish that the existing options represent the intended three-end tee.
Define the GOST tee or actual two-end component
Request supplier confirmation and an accepted drawing. For a tee, identify all run/branch nominal sizes and equal or reducing geometry. If a reducer is supplied, obtain its correct two-end specification. Preserve the existing option labels pending reconciliation rather than treating the two families as equivalent.
Obtain outside diameters, bores, wall thickness, center-to-end dimensions and butt-weld preparation for the confirmed shape. The half-inch-to-110-inch range is a catalogue context, not selected end dimensions. Custom length, height and mounting-hole entries provide no measured values or evidence of a hole feature.
Complete GOST and material traceability separately
Confirm the applicable GOST 17376 edition and selected configuration coverage, then agree the full material designation and governing material document. Carbon Steel/a234wpb options are labels rather than certification. Do not assume the option alone establishes acceptance under the intended GOST specification.
Request condition, heat traceability, material certificates and forging evidence. No wall schedule or seamless designation is recorded. Resolve Hexagon against the drawing, establish actual end details instead of relying on Customized Size thread wording, and define inspection of the plain finish and any specified treatment.
Assess the actual oil or water supply conditions
Provide medium composition, pressure, temperature, corrosion exposure, cycling and loads; obtain potable-water approval if relevant. High Pressure and Other class do not establish accepted numerical limits. Agree compatibility, joining, alignment, support, inspection, marking, material/process/dimensional records, warranty terms and quotation scope after the component is confirmed.
