This refinery equipment enquiry describes thick-wall stainless steel pipe with high-pressure wording. The actual order options provide a broad thickness entry and two lengths, rather than a fully specified pipe. Establish the selected grade, dimensions and process conditions before relying on the application description.
Select the wall and material for the actual stream
Identify fluid composition, concentration, contaminants, pressure and temperature, including thermal changes and cycling. Stainless steel is a material family, not proof of compatibility with every refinery stream. Agree the actual grade and condition required by the project and verify them through chemistry and traceability records.
The table identifies stainless steel but also contains a Non-Alloy field. Ask the supplier to clarify the classification using the selected material documents. Heavy Wall, Thick and High Pressure wording do not establish a numerical capacity or approval of a particular equipment component.
Define dimensions and manufacturing acceptance
The options pair a 6–20 mm thickness entry with 6 m or 12 m length; the outside-diameter field spans 219–1066 mm. Specify one diameter, wall and length combination, together with bore dimensions and any wall-distribution requirements. Confirm the exact offered size instead of assuming every combination is available.
Clarify the dimension covered by ±1%, straightness, ovality and end preparation. ASTM is listed without a numbered specification. Obtain the actual standard, edition, material properties and ERW production and inspection records, including how cold processing and any specified heat treatment relate to the supply.
Agree surface condition and project documentation
Cold Rolled does not define polishing, passivation or a protective coating. Set the required surface and non-oiled preservation conditions for the selected environment. Obtain actual certificate scope and agree joint inspection, tests, equipment or project acceptance, storage, actual-weight invoicing and confirmation of the listed 8–14-day delivery wording.
