This B16.9/A403 WP304 long-radius butt-weld elbow enquiry concerns a documented pipe-direction change. Select the required material and geometry before ordering. Standard and grade references in a product name identify requirements to confirm; they do not independently certify the supplied component.
Connect the grade to the selected option
Actual choices are Elbow / 10 mm / Stainless Steel and Elbow / 10 mm / Carbon Steel. Assign WP304 requirements to the intended stainless component, with its accepted material designation, edition, grade and inspection traceability. A carbon-steel alternative needs its own specification rather than assumed WP304 equivalence.
Identify the applicable B16.9 dimensional requirements and request evidence of conformity. Distinguish forged body processing from welded installation attachment when agreeing the production route. Confirm the polished finish and inspection acceptance without inferring corrosion resistance from appearance.
Put the long radius on a drawing
Specify the required centerline radius explicitly, together with angle, center-to-end dimensions, bore, wall and tolerances. No numerical radius multiplier or angle is established by the long-radius wording. Reference photographs show curved fittings but cannot establish the delivered dimensions or grade.
Define whether the 10 mm label is nominal or measured, and identify both pipe ends. The 4 in overall length, 10cm height and 0.2-inch mounting-hole entries concern other dimensions. State butt-weld preparation and any NPT/BSPT feature by the relevant component and end, rather than assuming a mixed-end arrangement.
Document the service envelope
For a building-water or drainage project, provide the actual medium, pressure, temperature, cycling and imposed loads. Class 1000 naming requires its governing standard and material-temperature basis, while low-pressure wording gives no numerical limit. Agree installation and inspection requirements, requested OEM, ODM or OBM scope, and the stated three-year warranty terms in the quotation.
