This A234 WPB carbon steel concentric reducer enquiry needs reconciliation of several source fields. The title describes seamless/butt-weld/welded construction, while the table records Casting, Equal and NPT. Confirm the actual selected geometry, manufacturing route and ends before treating those descriptions as one accepted specification.
Resolve reducing geometry and the body process
Request larger and smaller nominal ends, outside diameters, bores, wall transitions, length/profile and tolerances on a concentric drawing. The Equal entry does not establish the reducing pair. Each of the five metric size labels supplies only one value, so define both ends explicitly.
Obtain manufacturing records that reconcile Casting with the seamless/welded title wording and distinguish body manufacture from connection. Likewise, resolve butt-weld versus NPT/male-female entries through the actual end drawing and pipe fit. Do not assume a combined process or hybrid connection from the listing.
Allocate units and WPB to the individual selection
Ten variants pair Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel with 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm labels. Clarify nominal versus measured diameter without automatic inch/thread conversion. Allocate four-inch length, Height 8 with its unit and quarter-inch mounting-hole entry to the selected drawing rather than universal geometry or proof of holes.
Request full material designation, WPB allocation for the carbon selection, condition, traceability and certificates. Stainless alternatives require their own grade records. Agree the actual dimensional document and wall specification. Define smooth-surface inspection and obtain evidence for any required chemical, UV, corrosion or flexibility property.
Approve a specific application and operating duty
Broad application labels do not establish suitability for every listed industry. Low Pressure and Not Rated leave numerical limits unconfirmed. State medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, loads and compatibility. Obtain complete system approval, then agree joining, alignment, inspection, marking, required records, individual supply and quotation scope.
