This GOST 17376 forged butt-welding reducing tee enquiry needs an accepted document and supplied-item drawing. Establish the intended branch or transition arrangement before evaluating end fit, material acceptance or the complete pipe-system duty.
Define the applicable GOST document and geometry
Agree the document, edition, scope, dimensions, tolerances and compliance evidence. GOST naming alone cannot certify material, manufacture or operating capacity. Confirm the delivered subtype and actual run-to-branch relationship instead of treating reducing tee, equal tee and reducer as interchangeable forms.
Two actual variants are Reducer with Carbon Steel or a234wpb within a shared 1/2"-110" range. The range and customized-dimension entries cannot establish discrete available sizes or a measured assembly drawing. Obtain the identified supplied configuration.
Check the branch and every mating end
For tee supply, specify run/branch nominal sizes, all end diameters, bores, walls, orientation and center-to-end dimensions. For reducer supply, define both end sizes, transition arrangement and length separately. Confirm the measurement basis and welding-end preparation, fit-up and tolerances against the mating pipes.
Two viewed photos show bodies with smaller branches and different apparent sizes. They support visual comparison without certifying selected subtype, measured geometry, grade, GOST compliance or forging. Generic head-code wording cannot replace full pipe-end acceptance.
Accept material production and numerical service
Carbon Steel is not a grade certificate. The a234wpb option needs its accepted specification, grade, product form, condition and traceable inspection evidence. A material label does not establish equivalence with the GOST dimensional document. Forged wording requires actual production records.
High Pressure provides no numerical pressure-temperature envelope. Plain and Other labels do not establish corrosion resistance or service approval. Supply actual medium composition, pressure, temperature, flow/branch duty, cycling and loads with the accepted document, subtype/geometry, material/manufacture and joining evidence for technical evaluation.
