This customized 90-degree elbow listing is intended for construction engineering. Its title describes 316L stainless steel and butt-weld ends, while the selectable material is Carbon Steel and NPT appears in the table. Establish the actual supplied configuration before approving a drawing or procurement specification.
Approve one material and end arrangement
Request material documentation identifying the supplied grade, condition and traceability. The stainless title and carbon steel option do not establish one agreed material. Use the actual records to resolve the designation rather than inferring grade or conformity from a product photograph.
Obtain an end drawing that clarifies the butt-weld reference and the NPT table entry. Welding wording alone does not settle that choice. Define the weld preparation or thread geometry applicable to the ordered elbow, with the mating-pipe requirements and inspections needed for connection acceptance.
Specify the customized bend and surface
Provide nominal size, angle, bend radius, outside diameter, wall thickness and center-to-end dimensions. Hexagon Head does not supply the bend geometry. Repeated 1/2–12 inch entries under length, height and mounting-hole diameter should not be treated as actual measurements for the selected component.
Agree the drawing revision and dimensional tolerances for customization. Polished and smooth give no measured finish criteria, and corrosion resistant wording supplies no performance records. Specify the required surface package and inspections, together with the material and production evidence supporting the recorded FORGED description.
Set the construction service requirements
State the medium, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, transients and relevant loads. Low Pressure and Not Rated do not establish allowable numerical limits. Review the actual material and joint under the project requirements, then confirm dimensional, end and surface records, marking, preservation and delivery. Agree OEM requests and warranty terms independently of technical service acceptance.
