This forged elbow is listed with 45-degree and 90-degree angle wording, Welding and NPT. Its title names A105 carbon steel and a 2-inch DN50 size, while the only variant is 15 mm stainless steel. Resolve those differences before assigning a selected supply specification.
Reconcile material, size and class for the order
State the complete required material designation, condition and governing document, with traceability and certificates. The A105/carbon title and stainless variant do not establish the same material. Obtain a written material decision linked to the actual ordered component.
Confirm the title size against the 15 mm option using a drawing and dimensional convention; do not assume equivalence. The title pressure-class markings also differ from Class 150 in the table. Identify the actual selected class and governing material/temperature basis without converting the labels into an operating pressure.
Select the angle and document each connection
Choose the required angle and verify availability, since the single variant does not distinguish 45 degrees from 90 degrees. Specify nominal ends, radius, wall, tolerances and installation envelope. Allocate the 2.8 in length, 0.25 in hole and height 1, including its missing unit, to actual features.
Provide an end schedule for Welding and NPT, with preparation, full thread designation where applicable, mating parts, sealing and examination. Confirm the selected B16.11 document and edition, manufacturing/forging records and dimensional acceptance. No connection interchangeability is established by the listed terms.
Verify finish and operating acceptance evidence
Define measurable Smooth surface criteria and delivery protection. Provide actual medium composition, numerical pressure and temperature, cycling, corrosion exposure and loads. Require relevant resistance evidence for those conditions. Agree material/joint acceptance with the resolved material, size, class, angle, interfaces and inspection/testing requirements included in the quotation.
