This water treatment listing presents a stainless steel slip-on flange with a 316L designation and DIN, ASME and API references in the title. The Stainless Steel slip-on option is selectable. Confirm the supplied grade and the applicable connection specification before assigning it to a treatment system.
Match the slip-on flange to the pipe
Provide the pipe dimensions and required flange drawing, including bore, fit, hub geometry, thickness and facing. Review the intended welding and inspection requirements under the project specification. A slip-on option does not identify a universal weld detail or installation procedure for every pipe and material combination.
Check the complete drilling pattern against the mating flange. The table lists four half-inch holes and a Polished finish. Confirm those features for the chosen size, since the shared 1/2–120 inch range does not demonstrate a single drilling arrangement or availability of every listed material and flange type.
Clarify grade and standard references
Obtain the material documentation supporting grade 316L, with the required condition and traceability. Stainless Steel is the generic selectable material; it does not independently verify the more specific title designation. Confirm the production and finish requirements rather than treating Forged or Polished wording as inspection evidence.
Identify the numbered DIN, ASME or API specification and its edition where applicable. These names do not establish mutually interchangeable dimensions, a pressure class or certification. Agree facing, bolting and allowable service requirements for the selected material and connection.
Review the treated-water environment
Describe water chemistry, chlorides, other contaminants and treatment chemicals together with temperature, pressure and operating cycles. Assess the flange and joint for those actual conditions without assuming corrosion immunity or potable-water approval. Specify material and dimensional inspections, records, marking, preservation and delivery requirements for the selected slip-on configuration.
